MUSIC OF RELATIONS AND REVOLUTIONS

Just in time for the 1st of May; a call for people to take the streets and make their voices heard. Just over ten years ago, Ebo Krdum fled what was then a war-torn Darfur in western Sudan. Inspired by the Sudanese revolution of 2019, which marked the end of thirty years of brutal dictatorship, he wrote "Revolution Call".

This song is the first single from Krdum’s solo debut "Diversity" (to be released 10-09-21).

Ebo Krdum: “I was inspired by the Sudanese revolution in 2019 and by how people gathered to protest and demonstrate. It started with five people, then ten, then a hundred, then thousands. This feeling of community when people, no matter their differences, struggled to achieve the same goal - to overthrow the oppressive regime."
